Ahhh the Good Old Days!

1929 Hill Climb Photo, given to me from an old gentleman at the diner where I go for lunch.  The dress code for riding was a little different back then.  The coffee stain on the picture makes it all the better.

An Ariel View

About a year ago I got a wild hair up my ass to take apart this old 1958 Ariel Huntmaster 650.  Just like the Beatles song, I got a little help from my friends and we gave her a bit of sex appeal with a 6" stretch on the hard tail, a new tank, some dog bones, a spit shine and polish, and a fresh coat of paint.  Hopefully we can have her ready for Spring.

The picture above is her before we got started.

Now that's a great ass.

This photo is of the mock up before taking her all back apart for polish and paint.

Freedom of Direction

Bro Zito shared this with me recently straight out of the AMA magazine March 2014 issue. Apparently for an extra $20 it could be legal to vertically mount your license plate soon in the great state of Pennsylvania. Hopefully more states are already on this.

The plan is to have the state cons stamp and print the letters and numbers sideways so it reads correctly when mounted. Not sure if and when it will happen but if it is something you are into keep an eye on the google machine for news. It is called PA House Bill 1060. At the bottom of the Bill there is an attached memoranda with details of this that you can read about right HERE.

Zito's Vintage Cycles

Our main man Joe Zito across the river is setting up shop... It's always cool when one of your good friends makes moves to follow a dream and create something.

He already has some support tees for sale. If you have been to one of the previous 7 Ride to Skate Jams, you can thank him for creating it by expanding your wardrobe.

If you are in the Philly area and are in need of some top notch moto-work, I can't think of a more capable and trustworthy person to leave your bike with.
